Der Anfang war zunächst doch etwas enttäuschend und irgendwie untypisch für die Greg-Reihe: das Schwein, das die Familie im letzten Band unfreiwillig gewonnen hat, lebt nun mit im Haus und benimmt sich zu übertrieben menschlich. Es trägt z.B. eine Hose, die aussieht wie bei der ganz alten Mickey Mouse, und isst am Tisch mit. Zum Glück verschwindet das Schwein irgendwann diskret aus der Handlung, den diese Episode wirkte doch völlig unpassend und für eine Verfilmung nicht mehr vorstellbar.Die folgenden Geschichten, wie Gregs Opa das Internet und Dating Portale entdeckt und besonders die Zeit auf der Klassenfahrt zu einer Art Farm mitten in einem Wald waren wieder typische verrückte Greg-Geschichten mit Situationskomik und irren Zufällen. Vor allem der Fisch in der Toilette...
Mein Sohn hatte zuerst die deutschsprachigen Ausgaben von Greg's Tagebuch gelesen und liest jetzt die englischen. Er sagt, es ist leicht zu verstehen, weil er die Handlung schon kennt.Für mich ist es eine preiswerte und einfache Möglichkeit, meinen Sohn für freiwillige englische Lektüre zu gewinnen. Ich erhoffe mir davon natürlich auch Vorteile für den schulischen Bereich. Das gleiche gilt selbstverständlich auch für die anderen englischsprachigen "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"- Ausgaben.
The book is about the summerholidays of Greg and what he is doing during them.I recommend this book to students who are in the middle grade. Of course to people too, who want to laugh while reading a book.I really love this book because it is not just like a normal classic book. If you start reading it, you will understand what I mean. There are many pictures and with them you can imagine the perfect situation.
The book is fine, but my daughter did not really found it interesting where as the other series she liked more.
Diary of a wimpy kid: genial, um vorhandene Englischkentnisse (USA) aufzufrischen. Der Wortschatz ist aktuell (veröffentlicht 2015). 2 CDs, insgesamt knappe 2 Stunden Hörzeit. Listening to the stories is great fun!
I find Greg and his family amusing. I've read all of them and enjoyed this one as well. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Auch dieses Buch wurde von meinem Sohn, wie alle anderen Gregs Tagebücher, sofort nach Erhalt verschlungen. Er freut sich schon auf ein weiteres!
